I believe that true leaders don't just create followers, they cultivate more leaders. Because of this, I try to be intensely people focused in all that I do.
Rather than simply giving orders, I find it far more effective to inspire others to join me in pursuing shared goals and a common interest in doing the best job possible.
Leaders are always needed elsewhere, and by empowering others, we can extend our influence and achieve the greatest possible impact.
In my many years working in the technology industry I have worn many hats.
I’ve designed and architected software, led development teams, transformed organizations to agile methodologies, led offensive and defensive security initiatives and have had my share of both successes and failures.
Because of this, I have a lot to share and a unique perspective as someone who has seen problems, and their impact, through the lenses of different organization silos.
I started these blogs in order to share my ideas and experience.
As both a technology enthusiast and a skeptic, I offer a unique point of view combined with my own brand of storytelling. I hope you enjoy!
Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing about. – Benjamin Franklin
